| Baitu: Lok Kalyan Sansthan organised a day-long training for Panchayat Education Committee. During the training discussions were held on the issues like decline in quality of education, admission to schools, dropouts and scholarship provided to the students, etc. Panchayat Education Committee member Bheek Singh, Gumaan Singh and villager Ganga Singh said that children were not being provided with quality nutritious food in the schools, students were being discriminated in the name of education and the teachers were irregular. Members of the committee said that step-motherly treatment was being meted out to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes children. On this occasion a large number of people were present. |
